As a freelance Creative Director/Art Director - she combines her skills of art direction, design, copywriting and strategy. She's built her career solving hard problems in industries such as Health and Wellness - both DTC and HCP, Financial, CPG, Transportation, Energy, Tech, Telecommunications, Home and Building, and Higher Ed. A hands-on art director and designer as well as the ability to manage teams, she spans everything from digital and social to more traditional content. 
She is also the founder of Pod Creative Collective that collaborates with other specialists to bring a wholistic and scalable model to projects. 
Results Driven Team Leader as ECD at Gatesman
In her Executive Creative Director role at Gatesman, she was honored to lead a team of multi-talented makers and doers across three offices who created trailblazing 360 campaigns. Including driving registration for organ donation through CORE, launching a non-stop flight from Pittsburgh to London on British Airways, recruiting optometrists for National Vision, navigating an ever-changing retail landscape for SHOP 'n SAVE and showing the power of cost-savings of structural panels for USG. She contributed to 10 national and global client wins and also helped move the agency to 85% digital work during her tenure.
Multi-discipline Experience at Global Agencies
Previously she spent 19 years in New York at Ogilvy, BBDO, mcgarrybowen and Publicis as an integrated creative working on everything from traditional TV, print, OOH, digital of all kinds, brand experiences, websites, e-marketing, a reality TV show, branded entertainment and think tank type projects.

Industry Expertise and Resulting Impact
She has worked on a wide array of industries - Financial, Transportation, Package Goods, Energy, Health & Wellness, and Telecommunications. Accounts of note include global duties on DHL, American Express and Chevron – including campaigns in native language in Kazakhstan and Indonesia. Launching the global campaign to promote Kid's Oral Health for Oral-B & Crest. Launching the Blue Cash Card from American Express and Citi MasterCard in Google Wallet, creating some of the first iAds in the industry for AT&T on both the iPhone and iPad and introduced “Have A Super Sparkly Day!” into the lexicon through TV and web based work for Citibank. 
Awards and Recognition
Her work has been recognized with an Andy, Athena, numerous Financial Communication Society Awards, website awards from the Web Marketing Association, John Caples International Awards, and OMMA Awards, Effie, as well as local, district and national ADDYs, including the Phil Dusenberry Award for her work on Street Soccer, USA, a pro-bono account that helps homeless men and women get off the street.

Giving Back, Teaching and Mentoring
Julie is a member of the Women's Leadership Council of the United Way of Western Pennsylvania and a Board Advisor for Clear Thoughts Foundation. She has also judged various award shows for the AAF. Another passion of hers is mentoring and teaching students at the agencies she has worked at, as an adjunct instructor at the Miami Ad School and through various professional organizations, including the Advertising Women of New York and The One Club’s Creative Bootcamp that promotes diversity in advertising.
